(Note: my computers were not infected
because Norton firewall warned me of the attack)
Sometimes on Sunday, May 9th,
the Town Crier website has been attacked by a nasty infection.
The attack was directed towards
most of the world press, blogs, and many other websites.
If you have a Windows-based
computer and visited the Town Crier website this last Sunday or Monday,
before it was shut down, and do not have a firewall to protect your
computer, below are simple steps to restore your computer. (Note that an
anti-virus will not protect your computer from such attacks.)
